Review: Deacon

Deacon Deacon by Kristen Ashley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

"I so love you more," I retorted. He looked back at me. Then he whispered "Beautiful war." Beautiful war. It was indeed."

Deacon Deacon.

I think Kristen Ashley jumped inside my mind and grabbed all my favorite "book men" qualities and made Deacon. She made him for me, I just know it!!=) He is a man of few words...very few. If he is talking it means something. He calls Cassie woman, how do I even like that?! It sounds so caveman-ish OH WAIT I LOVE cavemen=)))) I want my own caveman! He can grunt and growl all day for me! I smiled ALL the time in this book. I was thrilled that it had some much good in it...not all that "oh he doesn't love me...i'm never gonna be good enough for him...why doesn't he tell me how he feels" I get SO tired of female leads being soooo insecure and its a breath of fresh air when you get a "woman" ;) like Cassie. I loved her. I loved her LOVING Deacon. This book was perfect to me. Perfect.

One more note, of COURSE she used my all time favorite band and my top 2 fav song of theirs! GAH like I said 'MADE FOR ME!'
