I have been dying for a new Christine Z book! DYING! I was absolutely, totally, completely taken with the Beautiful Series (Brutally Beautiful and Cold Blooded Beautiful) it is on my favs list and in my home library (I only buy hard copies of my favs these days!) All of this tells you that I had HIGH expectations for her next book, probably too high! Imagine my surprise when I started the book and found out it was inspired by True Events...what?!?! After reading that I was definitely in for the long haul! CZ has a way of hooking me in from the very first words, and of course this is my preference=) I want to get that giddy feeling of "OMG I am going to LOVE this book!" as quickly as I can. It is hard to do, and she did it...again! I freaking LOVED (blasted word, I need a better one because it isn't enough even all capped!!!) every word of this book. It was so emotional. I cried a few times, I got that overwhelming feeling more that a few times! I want every book I read to make me feel this much. I bought my hard copy today from Amazon and will proudly display this book next to the Beautiful Series. Read this book and all her others!
